Pre-Registration

For added Sales Lifecycle tracking, SIRAS and its participating retailers encourage all manufacturer clients to pre-register their products. Pre-registration includes sending SIRAS advance notification of shipments specifying the UPCs and serial numbers for each item and the destination retailer. There are no additional fees for pre-registration, and the benefits include increased reporting measures and improved asset protection tools.

Pre-registration is required only for serialized bundled products, but is an optional service for all other items activated on the program.
