Central Return Center

SIRAS can also be used at a retailer’s return centers (or in the back-of-store). The program, CRC SIRAS, is designed to help retail accounts determine which products qualify for credit prior to returning the product to the vendor. With an Internet-based solution, users scan a product’s unique identifier, such as the Universal Product Code (UPC) and serial number, and SIRAS returns a real-time response detailing the correct product disposition. The disposition is determined by the retailer and manufacturer terms and conditions, and can be based on product ship date, product sale date, or other mutually agreed upon terms.

The application also provides reporting capability and trending analysis by date, specific vendor, or specific returns center.
